Captain Jefferson is the captain of the Imperial Navy frigate Measured Response. He is physically fit, good looking and highly charismatic - the all round stereotypical starship captain. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

Jefferson was initially drafted into the navy whilst working aboard freighters during the Juno Uprising. Helping to run supplies past the rebel blockades, he joined the crew of the Avenger after his own ship was disabled, and gradually worked his way up through dedication and competance.
He has been involved in several shooting battles over the last few years, especially in anti-pirate and peace keeping actions in the outer territories. He is unlikely to get promoted much further to larger vessels however, since his working class background makes his peers distrust him. However, those who work with him trust and respect him.
